White and Red Snow are unique herbs which grow only Tibetan Plateau, especialy in Jade Dragon Snow Mountain at an altitude of 4000 meters where snow never melts.
In Ming Dynasty, it was a tribute to emperors by Mu Tribe in Yunnan. The Naxi Tribe People insist that the tea is good for high blood pressure. Naxi people flock to the mountain in November, December and January to pick it when it ripens. When dried, it looks like tiny strips of dried apples whitened by the sun.
Herbs like White Snow, Red Snow or rare Snow Lotus become due to overharvesting endangered or nearly extinct - they can´t be cultivated. Plese don´t buy this herbs enywhere. With no demand it may help the herbs to recover.
